Ingredients
24 Oreo cookies
5 tablespoons unsalted butter
24 oz cream cheese
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 large eggs
3/4 cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/3 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tablespoon red food coloring
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup whipped cream
2 tablespoons holiday sprinkles
6 whole Oreo cookies for topping
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C). Pulse 24 Oreo cookies into fine crumbs, stir in melted butter, and press into a 9-inch springform pan. Bake for 8 minutes and cool.
2. Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add sugar, sour cream, vanilla, and eggs one at a time. Mix until just combined.
3. In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa, and salt. In another bowl, whisk sugar, buttermilk, oil, vanilla, food coloring, and egg. Combine with dry mix until smooth.
4. Pour cheesecake batter over crust. Spoon red velvet batter over cheesecake layer and spread evenly.
5. Place pan in water bath and bake for 55–65 minutes until center is set. Cool inside oven with the door cracked for 1 hour.
6. Chill for 6 hours or overnight. Before serving, decorate with whipped cream, sprinkles, and Oreo cookies.
