12 wonton wrappers
1 egg
2 cups vegetable oil
2 tablespoons powdered sugar
Instructions
1. Lay out your wonton wrappers on a dry surface and prepare a small bowl with beaten egg.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of Nutella to the center of each wrapper.
3. Dip your finger into the egg and brush the edges of each wrapper.
4. Fold into a triangle or bring corners together to seal tightly.
5. Heat 2 inches of oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
6. Fry dumplings in batches for 1–2 minutes per side, flipping once.
7. Remove and drain on a paper towel-lined plate.
8. Dust immediately with powdered sugar and serve warm.
Notes
Do not overfill the dumplings or they may burst during frying.
Seal edges well using the egg wash to avoid Nutella leakage.
