Ingredients
2 large Russet potatoes
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon chopped fresh or dried parsley
Instructions
1. Peel (optional) and cut the Russet potatoes into ¼ inch thick matchstick strips.
2. Rinse them in cold water and soak for 30 minutes. Drain and pat completely dry.
3. Toss with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, and salt until evenly coated.
4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
5. Cook fries in batches in a single layer for 15–18 minutes, shaking halfway.
6. Transfer to a bowl and immediately sprinkle with Parmesan and parsley.
7. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For ultra-crispy fries, don’t skip soaking and drying the potatoes.
Don’t overcrowd the air fryer; work in batches for even cooking.
Freshly grated Parmesan melts better and clings to hot fries.
