Description

Start your day with a creamy, chocolatey burst of nutrition that’s as delicious as it is nourishing. This Healthy Chocolate Collagen Smoothie blends together rich cocoa flavor, natural sweetness from banana, and the protein power of collagen to support your skin, hair, joints, and muscles—all in one glass. It tastes like a milkshake, but fuels you like a wellness powerhouse. Whether you’re whipping this up as a quick breakfast on the go, a pre-workout energy boost, or an afternoon snack, it delivers satisfying flavor with a clean ingredient list. Plus, it’s naturally dairy-free, refined sugar-free, and gluten-free—without sacrificing any indulgence.

Ingredients

1 banana

1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder

2 tablespoons collagen peptides

1 cup unsweetened almond milk

1 tablespoon almond butter

1 teaspoon maple syrup (optional)

1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

1. Peel the banana and measure out all other ingredients. If your banana is frozen, you can skip the ice cubes for a thicker smoothie.

2. Add the banana, almond milk, collagen peptides, almond butter, cocoa powder, vanilla, maple syrup, and ice (if using) into a high-speed blender. Blend on high for 30–60 seconds until creamy and smooth.

3. Taste your smoothie and adjust to your liking. Want more sweetness? Add a little more maple syrup. Prefer it thicker? Toss in a few extra ice cubes and blend again.

4. Pour into a glass and enjoy immediately. Add a sprinkle of cacao nibs or chia seeds on top if you’re feeling fancy.

Notes

Use a frozen banana for a creamier, milkshake-like texture.

Add a tablespoon of chia seeds or flax for extra fiber and omega-3s.

Make it nut-free by swapping almond butter with sunflower seed butter.
