Ingredients
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
0.5 cup marinara sauce (for dipping)
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Separate the 8 biscuits and cut each in half to make 16 pieces.
3. Flatten each piece and place 0.5 tablespoon mozzarella inside. Pinch and roll into a sealed ball.
4. Arrange dough balls on the baking sheet in a Christmas tree shape (1 at top, 2 below, 3, 4, 5; with 1-2 as the trunk).
5. Melt 2 tablespoons butter and mix with 1 teaspoon garlic powder. Brush mixture over the dough balls.
6. Sprinkle 0.33 cup mozzarella and all the Parmesan over the shaped tree.
7. Bake 18–20 minutes until golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve warm with marinara on the side.
