Ingredients
10 cooked sausage links
10 slices white sandwich bread
2 large eggs
1/4 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons butter
maple syrup, for serving
powdered sugar, for serving (optional)
Instructions
1. Cook the sausage links according to the package directions and let cool slightly.
2. Trim the crusts off each slice of bread and flatten with a rolling pin.
3. Place one sausage at the edge of each slice and roll the bread tightly around it.
4. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon until smooth.
5. Heat butter in a skillet over medium heat.
6. Dip each roll-up in the egg mixture, coating all sides.
