Ingredients

2 large apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 eggs

2 tablespoons milk

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

1/4 cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon

1/4 cup caramel or vanilla glaze (optional, for drizzling)


Instructions

1. Core and slice the apples into thin fry-like strips. Peel if preferred.

2. Set up three bowls: one with flour, one with whisked eggs and milk, and one with panko, sugar, and cinnamon mixed.

3. Dip each apple slice into flour, then the egg wash, then coat in the panko mixture.

4. Arrange coated apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

5. Air fry at 375°F for 8 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and crispy.
