Ingredients

2 boneless skinless chicken breasts

4 tablespoons butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 teaspoons Dijon mustard

1 teaspoon smoked paprika

1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

2 tablespoons lemon juice

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1 tablespoon chives, chopped

8 ounces linguine pasta

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Heat 1 tablespoon butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken pieces 4–5 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

2. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium. Add remaining butter, garlic, Dijon, paprika, red pepper flakes, and lemon juice. Stir and simmer until fragrant, about 1 minute.

3. Pour in heavy cream. Simmer 3–4 minutes until thickened slightly. Add Parmesan and stir until melted.

4. Meanwhile, cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

5. Return chicken to skillet. Add cooked linguine and toss everything in the sauce. Loosen with pasta water as needed.

6. Garnish with parsley and chives. Serve warm with extra Parmesan and black pepper.

Notes

Use fresh garlic and herbs for best flavor impact.

Reserve pasta water—it’s key to silky sauce.

Let the chicken rest before slicing to retain juiciness.
