Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 box (6 oz) seasoned stuffing mix
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
2 cloves garlic minced
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/3 cup ketchup (for glaze)
2 tablespoons brown sugar (for glaze)
Chopped parsley optional for garnish
Instructions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan or line with parchment paper.
2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together milk and eggs. Stir in the stuffing mix and let soak for 5 minutes.
3. Add ground beef, onion, garlic, 2 tbsp ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix until just combined.
4. Press the meat mixture evenly into the prepared loaf pan. Bake for 30 minutes.
5. While baking, mix 1/3 cup ketchup and 2 tbsp brown sugar in a small bowl to make the glaze.
6. After 30 minutes, remove meatloaf, spread glaze over the top, and return to the oven for 20–25 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F.
7. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Garnish with parsley if desired.
Notes
Don’t overmix the meat mixture or it may become tough.
Use dry boxed stuffing—not fresh—for best consistency.
Resting the meatloaf before slicing helps keep it moist and intact.
