Ingredients
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
2 tablespoons butter
1 1/2 cups white chocolate (chopped or discs)
3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 cup crushed candy canes
Instructions
1. Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing for overhang.
2. In a saucepan over low heat, melt 1 tablespoon butter, 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, and 1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk. Stir until smooth.
3. Pour chocolate mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Chill briefly.
4. In a separate pan, melt 2 tablespoons butter, 1 1/2 cups white chocolate, and 3/4 cup sweetened condensed milk over low heat. Stir until fully melted.
5. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract and 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract.
6. Pour the white chocolate mixture over the chocolate base. Swirl using a skewer or knife to create marbled effect.
7. Sprinkle 1/4 cup crushed candy canes on top and gently press them in.
8. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until fully set.
9. Lift from pan using parchment, cut into 36 squares, and serve.
