This festive and flavorful Christmas Jam is everything your holiday mornings need. Ingredients
3 cups strawberries
1 cup raspberries
2 cups cranberries
1/2 cup water
4 cups granulated sugar
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon orange zest
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 pouch (3 oz) liquid pectin
Instructions
1. Rinse and roughly chop the strawberries and raspberries. Combine them in a large pot with the cranberries.
2. Add water and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the cranberries begin to pop, about 10 minutes.
3. Use an immersion blender to lightly puree the mixture, or leave chunky for texture.
4. Stir in sugar, lemon juice, orange zest, and cinnamon. Bring to a rolling boil.
5. Add liquid pectin and boil hard for 1 minute. Remove from heat.
6. Ladle jam into sterilized jars, leaving 1/4 inch headspace. Seal and process in a boiling water bath for 10 minutes or refrigerate for immediate use.
Notes
Don’t skip the cranberries—they add the festive tart flavor and color.
For smoother texture, puree longer with the immersion blender.
This jam also pairs wonderfully with baked brie or as a cheesecake topping.
